Dehydrated Apples

Sweet & crispy dehydrated apples-perfect for snacking, baking, and long-term storage!

Ingredients

  • Apples
  • Cinnamon (Optional)

Method

  1. Thoroughly wash apples & core them. Peeling is optional, we like to leave the skins on.
  2. Slice apples into 1/4 inch slices. Lightly spray with lemon juice (optional, just helps keep color vibrant & better for long term storage, but not required). Sprinkle apples with a light layer of cinnamon (if using).
  3. Spread apples out on dehydrator trays leaving space between apples for proper air flow.
  4. Dehydrate at 125F for 10-14 hours. Apples should be crisp & snap when they're finished. Store in an airtight container & enjoy!

Notes

You can have fun with these apples! We keep it simple and just add cinnamon but you can sprinkle a little sugar and other spices too like nutmeg if you want. This is a super simple recipe that makes a yummy, healthy treat for the whole family! 🙂
