Easy Overnight Oats

An easy make-ahead breakfast where oats soak overnight in milk, creating a creamy, hearty meal ready to enjoy the next morning.
Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 2 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3 cups Milk
- 4 TBS Chia seeds
- 2-3 scoops Protein powder of choice (optional)
- 3-5 TBS Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Flavor option: Chocolate Peanut Butter (Add to base ingredients)
- 4 TBS Peanut butter
- 4 TBS Cocoa powder
- I use chocolate protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Maple Latte (Add to base ingredients)
- 1/2 cup Espresso or cold coffee (Reduce milk by 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Blueberry Almond Crumble (Add to base ingredients)
- 1-2 cups Frozen blueberries Blueberries will thaw overnight.
- 1/4 cup Almond butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Chopped pecans (optional)
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Apple Pie (Add to base ingredients)
- 1 cup Finely chopped apples If you want the apples softer, toss them in a pan with 1-2 TBS of butter and cook for a few minutes to soften them.
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts (optional)
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Strawberry Shortcake (Add to base ingredients)
- 1-2 cups Strawberries (chopped or sliced)
- 1/4 cup Crushed pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup Almond butter
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Peaches & Cream (Add to base ingredients)
- 1-2 cups Diced peaches
- 2-4 TBS Almond butter or 1/4 cup coconut cream
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Flavor option: Banana Bread (Add to base ingredients)
- 1 Mashed banana
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts (optional)
- I use vanilla protein powder for this flavor
Method
- Mix all of the ingredients well in a large bowl & fill (4) pint sized mason jars evenly with the mixture. Put a lid on them and put them in the fridge overnight. In the morning they're ready to eat, you can top with your favorite fruit or granola!

Overnight oats are a family favorite for us. I’ve included (7) of our family’s favorite flavor choices so you have a fun variety to choose from. Just add the flavor choice ingredients to the base ingredients and you’re good to go. Overnight oats are super flexible, so feel free to adjust ingredients as needed to your liking. 🙂
