Gluten Free Biscuits & Gravy

Fluffy gluten-free biscuits served warm and smothered in a rich, savory milk gravy. Cozy, hearty, and a classic comfort food!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Batch of Tina's gluten-free biscuits (Recipe in the notes below)
  • Eggs (Scrambled) As many as you desire
Gluten-Free Gravy
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 2 TBS Cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 2-1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ground sausage (optional)

Method
 

Biscuits
  1. Bake a batch of gluten-free biscuits. Use Tina's recipe below in the notes. 🙂
Gravy
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the cornstarch (or arrowroot powder) and whisk until a thick paste forms.
  3. Slowly start whisking in the milk, whisking continuously.
  4. Once the milk is added, let it simmer until it starts to thicken. Whisking continuously.
  5. Whisk in your salt and pepper.
  6. Finally, is using, add in your ground sausage.
  7. Serve the homemade country gravy over a biscuit topped with scrambled eggs and enjoy!
